By: Joan Littlewood, Theatre Workshop, and Charles Chilton

Director: Robert G. Anderson
Scenic Design: Joe Klug
Props Master: Megan Dietrich
Props Assistant: Lindsey Sample

Setting: Experimental setting, WWI, Actors playing performers portraying events from WWI
Subject Matter: WWI, using humor and vignettes to express major events in the war, death, loss, fear, history, personal connections

This production presented a unique experience for all involved. The seating was experimental and interactive as the benches were used for seating, as well as platforms. The actors moved the benches around and interacted greatly with the audience. Megan was a pro with the amount of detailed props needed for this show because the playing spaces moved and changed with fluidity, but still needed to look stylistically realistic. My two major projects for this show were country banners, and a little soldier doll. With how complicated and intricate this show was, Megan was a rockstar.
