Mr. Burns is a difficult show to fill such a large space. The show is intended to be a store-front minimalist production. However, we fully produced the show. This presented a few major things to overcome. The show has three very distinct acts (realistic forested first act, a warehouse/theatre space with cobbled together theatrical elements for act two, and the final act was a mostly polished full theatrical act). This meant everything had to roll or move quickly (including a 15’ Christmas tree), cobbled together “lighting fixtures, a gun shoot out, a “car” decorated with red food boxes, and even the final number including sparklers timed to go out at the end of a song.
